Personality: Friendly once he gets to know someone, kind, considerate, confident. Don't get on his bad side though! While it does take a lot to anger him, this big cat's got a bite that's worse then his roar!

Biography: Born into a group of technology loving, shape-shifting tigers, Avian always seemed out of place. As a cub, he was picked on for being a bit of a loner and for having strange, old fashioned ways. As he grew older, he learned more about the technology which his clan dealt with and finally decided that machines and the like just were not what he wanted to spend his life learning about. He took up wood sculpting as a hobby, and could be found alone in the woods of his him throwing daggers and making bows and arrows. This was around the age of 16. As he grew older, Arain, a tigress he had grown up with, began to take interest in him. Never having talked to him, she would follow him into the forest in secret to watch him, until one day he stopped pretending he didn't notice her and called her out. After spending time with one another, he learned that he had feelings for her. Once they admitted their feelings for one another, the two were almost inseparable.
Avian had to leave his home for a few days and he bid his love farewell..But she had begged him to stay. "Something will go terribly wrong..Avian, please.." but he shook his head and licked her cheek, promising to return to her soon. But as fate would have it, trouble did in fact, find him. It was late into the night, two days after leaving his home, when he stumbled across the demon that would ruin his life and banish him from his home and family. The demon's name was Charesh. He laid his glowy blue eyes upon Avian and at once decided that this tiger would be his host until he would become strong enough to fend on his own. His intent malicious, he forced his way into Avian's soul and tainted the once reserved and gentle beast, becoming the tiger himself.
Charesh, through Avian's memories, inflicted pain upon the Amur in order to gain strength. Feeding off his misery until the pain of being beaten by others as a young cub no longer seemed to work. Charesh once more, went through Avian's memories and found that his one and only joy in life was being with Arain. "If that's what it takes, so be it!" Charesh growled through Avian's voice. Avian was nothing but someone in the croud, watching from the stands as Charesh took hold of his body and forced him to return home. A prisoner to his own mind, Charesh ran the show.
Upon returning, Avian's parents greeted him, and all the tiger could do was cry in the confines of his own mind. Charesh raised Avian's paw and brutally cut down his parents. Blood dripping from his black claws and his white fur stained red by the crimson liquid, he continued forward towards his den where he lived with Arain. Two patrol tigers approached and made to attack, but the demon within Avian was stronger then their combined force, and he lunged. Slicing one's neck open and holding the other in his large fangs, Charesh let out a triumphant growl..Until Arain came out of the den. Shock painted her face and her light green eyes darkened with fear. "My love.." Charesh dropped the dead tigers and stood with a sickening smile on his face.
That night, Avian watched as Arain was killed..Tortured first, like a house cat does with a mouse, and then viciously slain..Avain couldn't bear the pain and fought to regain control of himself, and after hours and hours of struggling, finally won. Charesh, now casted out of Avian's body, hung over the weakened tiger and laughed.
In the end, Avian was banished from his home and forced to wander the lands. If there's one thing he regrets, it's not having been strong enough to fight off Charesh and protect the one thing he loved more then life itself.

Height: 6'0

Weight: Avian's a big boy. In his regular tiger form, he weighs about 675 pounds- and it's all muscle. In his Anthro form, he's about half of that, at 337 pounds.

Occupation: He used to make little sculptures for the young cubs, but now his only job is to keep moving, and figure out whether this strange 'rumor', whispered to him by an unfamiliar person, is any bit real.

Likes/Dislikes: Avian likes hunting and using his bow and arrow. He likes carving and loves a good thunder storm. He enjoys swimming and running, and spending most of his time as his normal form rather then his anthro form.
Avian has a strong dislike for people who are very loud. Also, he dislikes liars and is prejudiced against demons. After his encounter with Charesh, he fears and loathes them more then anything else.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Avian is pretty good with technology. He can fix machines pretty easily. Being a tiger, he can EASILY sneak up on just about anything without being detected. He's sly and very fast. Claws and teeth are especially sharp so he can easily tear through flesh, if the chance arises that he has to do so. Avian easily blends in with his surroundings and is very strong in his Anthro form (he's faster in his normal form though) and has very good aim with both his arrows and daggers.
Avian seems to be pretty tough with all his strengths, but everyone has their weakness and he's no exception. Calling him weak in itself is a weakness..He fights with himself constantly over not having been able to protect his family, and this is where his anger tends to rise. If left to rampage around, he'll wear himself out and eventually collapse from being so weak.
Avian fractured his right leg when he was younger, therefore it's pretty weak. If attacked there, he'll be down and out for the count. Another weakness is that his eye-sight isn't the greatest during the day. Bright lights hurt his eyes. Fire scares him (a little bit..but don't depend on it to win =3
The last weakness is probably having someone with the power to communicate using their mind, talking to him. He freezes up and thinks that a demon is trying to take over once more, and he loses himself.

Powers: Charesh tainted Avian's soul when he took over, and left behind quite a few powers which Avian really has no idea how to use. One power seems to come about when he becomes angered. His eyes change to a reddish color and he is no longer the good-natured Amur. He becomes a killing machine, and can hardly distinguish between friend and foe. The good part is, when this wears out, Avian is left drained and weak. Another power allows Avian to use shadows and attack..Although he doesn't quite know how to control this.
